I bought two pairs of these wheels from Kinetic One complete with Michelin Pro Race tyres and tubes. They were for customers for whom I was building a pair of `His` and ` Hers`` triathlon specific bikes.
My clients were very interested in these wheels, at first purely for the colour and deep section rims.
When the wheels arrived I was very impressed with the build quality and sturdy feel of the wheels, and they certainly passed the `spinning` test, going on for so long I got bored holding them and had to put them down, the hubs are butter smooth and roll on for sometime more than my own more expensive Bontrager xx Racelite ones, much to my consternation.
On the Bike they looked really great, transforming the look of the bike and giving it a real `Pro` appearance. Of course the proof of the pudding is in the eating, so I was keen to hear how they performed in real world conditions on the road.
Both My clients reported back saying the wheels suddenly come into their own over 20mph, below this they are very much like any other top end wheel but once `on song` they really shed the air and give a reassuring feeling of stability and power slipping effortlessly up to speed and more importantly making it easy to stay there.
I personally would have given these wheels 5 stars, barring my own very mild gripe which is weight, that said, It was only because they performed so brilliantly I EXPECTED them to weigh next to nothing.
Verdict: Superb looking, and high performing wheel, ideal for keen time trialists or triathletes looking for a stable and fast wheel they can use without worrying it will buckle in the first pothole. And for this money, truly unbeatable value, well done K1.

I will be to the point . Fast When up to speed , Very stiff and rigid but give a good ride . Very well made, smooth bearings . Great price for a set of aero wheels . I would buy another pair . Also great customer support from Andy at Kinetic one .

"DOGS BOLLERICKS".
I only have a Giant Defy 2 as am on a budget with little one on the way, and i have always wanted some deep rim wheels but everything is out of my price range. So when I saw these on ebay I went straight to the website and fell in love with them and I knew these wheels were going to be on my bike by christmas.
I went on my first bike ride just after new year and I was really impressesd with the feel and the ride of these wheels the hubs are smoother than an oil slick and they roll for ages had a little gust of wind hit the side of the rim but once I got the feel I was hooked.
So sorry to go on a bit but they are that good.
Dont hesitate when buying the service and communication from kinetic-one is top notch and andy is so helpfull and replies to emails asap with good advice. Keep up the good work and the new site i sweet.

Reviewer: Justyn Davies from Llandeilo Carmarthenshire A great looking wheelset at a great price! Ive used them for timetrialing on flat courses and when you wind them up to speed they are amazing!! Ultra smooth bearings...they go for ever! Ive done new pbs using them on 10 and 25s last year. Amazing value,if your on a budget and cant afford carbon....get some!!!!
