The Benefits
· You can save up to 50%* on SRP on a new bike, depending on your tax band
· Payments are taken from your wages before tax
· You'll be paying no VAT, National Insurance or Income Tax on the bike purchase
· Your company will save money on your payments
· The bike package can include associated safety equipment like lights, locks, and bike clothing
· Cyclescheme has no restriction on company size or bike brand, anyone can apply for any type of bike
· There's only five simple steps to take for your tax-free bike!
The Five Steps
1. Cyclescheme advises your employer on the running of the scheme. Tell your employer about Cyclescheme and ask them to look at www.cyclescheme.co.uk/employer,intro.htm. they can also register there. Your employer has to be willing to join the scheme before you can get your bike.
2. As a Cyclescheme approved bikeseller we can quote you the cost of the bike package (bike plus safety equipment like helmet, lights, bike clothing etc.). Call us on 01453 767 266 or click here to use our online contact form.
3. You take the quote to your Employer, who authorises the bike package
4. Cyclescheme issues a voucher to authorise you to collect the bike
5. Your employer deducts the money from your wages, tax-free over the agreed period. A fair market value payment may be required to end the lease if you want to make the bike yours.
*Actual savings depend on your personal circumstances and tax rate

But the bike I want costs more than £1000?
Don't worry you can still use the cyclescheme. Basically you can claim up to £1000 of the price of your new bike through the scheme. But if you want amore expensive bike then the first £1000 can be claimed through the scheme and you pay a monthly amount from your wage packet over 12 months. You would pay us the remiaining amount when you order your bike! This way you get the best of both worlds. You get the full tax benefits and payment spreading that the scheme allows - and you get to have your dream bike:
So in the above example:
A person on £20k income who buys an £1800 Kinetic-One bike can get it for an all-in cost of £1370.21 by using the Cyclescheme. Saving the same £430 as in the above example. That's £800 up front (by card, cheque etc) - followed by 12 payments from wages at £47.52 per month over 12 months*
Kinetic-One is an approved Cyclescheme bike seller and we can help you take advantage of this tremendous tax break. It really is no gimmick. You can get the bike of your dreams for up to 50% off and pay monthly for it.
