The Kinetic-One Team

We are now going far beyond sponsoring Elite athletes as in previous years. Our new concept is to create the most diverse “Race” team possible. Membership will range from Elite Internationals, club riders and multi-sport athletes. It's OPEN TO ANYONE WHO HAS PURCHASED A KINETIC-ONE BIKE no matter what level they compete at.

Many of our team members will of course already be riding for road or tri clubs and membership of any club won’t conflict with membership of the Kinetic-One team. In technical terms Kinetic-One will be your sponsor! We hope that our team members will wear their race jerseys whenever possible of course!

Please note The “Team” will not be a formally constituted club and will not offer benefits like insurance etc. The team will be an informal commercial sponsor of those choosing to join. Nice and simple really.

With 2 riders in the top 13 - Team Kinetic-one placed well at the superb Mad March Sportive on March 7th.

Mark Pollard came in 10th and Kinetic-One owner Andy Morgan 13th in an event

characterised by bright sunshine, potholes and lots of very tired legs
on a testing 75 mile course.

For many of the field of 250 riders this was clearly the first major leg-stretcher of the year - and extra tough following such a hard winter.

.Best team of the day were undoubtedly Cult Racing with 3 riders in the top 10. When you consider that the Cult guys
are young and lean twenty-somethings and that most of the Kinetic-One team are over 40 - We see it as a testament
to our bike fitting and tailoring process and our bikes that we are competitive with teams half our age!

That's the Kinetic-One ethos: We believe that any rider can be so much ebtter than they thought they ever could.
We think events like these demonstrate this well!

Event:        The Kinetic-One Castle Combe Olympic Duathlon
Date:      18 April 2010
Location:Castle Combe, Chippenham.

The exciting new Olympic distance duathlon at the famous Castle Combe race circuit.
Safe, traffic-free, duathlon racing at it’s best, suitable for first-timers and experienced competitors alike.
Wide, smooth, tarmac closed roads to cycle on and a flat, predominantly on-road run route.

·        Chip timing including splits and bike laps.
• Memento for all finishers.
• Beginner friendly racing.
• Heated viewing area with results screens.
• On-site catering with hot food and drinks at the Tavern Restaurant.
• On-site toilets and showers.
• On site sports massage.

Crudwell LeMans 24 Hour Road Relay Event - We need you

Event: The Crudwell LeMans 24 Hour Team Relay
Date: 26-27th june 2010
Location: Crudwell, Wiltshire

We've just heard from the Crudwell Le Man Organising committee that this years 24 hour spectacle is provisionally scheduled for the 26-27th june.

The event consists of literally dozens of teams charged with trying to complete as many laps of a pretty fast 7 mile road course in 24 hours (very little traffic). Centred around the village of Crudwell in Wilts (just off the M4) the event is ridden as a relay with each lap being done by a single rider. Some riders ride road bikes and others their tt/tri bikes.

Its a fantastic event and many people camp out on the village green and a carnival atmosphere reigns!

I'd like to enter a kinetic-one team into the event and ideally would like to be able to get a dozen kinetic-one riders together.

The main thrust of this message is that I'd be honoured if you, as a Kinetic-One customer and team member, would join the team for the Le Mans and to be one of the dozen! Whilst not a formal "race" and indeed the purpose is to raise money for charity, the objective on the day is to ride as many laps as possible and the make-up of the team will I'm sure enable to meet this objective - Could our ultimate goal be to do more miles than any other team!

Thats a tough challenge but I reckon we could do it - Last year there was at least one Olympian riding so the standard and the intensity of this event are both fantastic!

I really hope you can make it and please let me know even if you only think you might be able to.

Their website still carries pretty much the same info about the 2009 event as it did back in June and little on 2010 yet - worth bookmarking for when its updated.
