Working in partnership with Drag2Zero Wind tunnel specialists (who are currently working with Team Columbia among other Pro teams). We are offering the ultimate bike-fitting experience:

£909.95 - Wind Tunnel Session + Kinetic-One Positional Analysis Session.
Takes place over 2 distinct sessions and includes an initial Kinetic-One bike fitting and postional analysis session and a personal wind tunnel testing session:
Session 1: An inital positional analysis at Kinetic-One will establish your baseline optimal postioning from both a biodynamic and performance perspective. It will help ensure that your bike and componentry are optimally sized and fitted for maximum effectiveness so that you can get the most out of your wind tunnel session. Wind tunnel time is expensive so it pays to be sure that everything is initally optimised prior to heading for the tunnel! You could even be on the wrong sized bike of course - better to know this before you commit to the wind tunnel!! We're heavily discounting the price of our analysis services as we're so committed to working together to keep the inevitably high costs of such a service as low as possible!
Session 2: At a later date (usually a few weeks after session 1) you will receive your own personal wind tunnel session at Brawn GP Formula 1 Scale Wind Tunnel near Northhampton. The purpose of this session is to use a tightly controlled wind tunnel test environment to establish how to minimise your drag coefficient - I.e to maximise your aerodynamics and make you go faster. The wind tunnel test will also involve scientifically determining your power output as different aero-positions are tried.

Please note;
1. Wind tunnel time is expensive (as is technician and aerodynamicist time) and the only way to make it this affordable is to block book entire days at the wind tunnel. this means that you will only be able to choose from a very narrow range of dates which may well be several weeks after part 1 of the fitting. This does mean also that you'll have a chance to make any suggested changes to your bikes componentry and to then get used to your new position before you go into the wind tunnel for Part 2.
2. If your bike positioning or components are not optimal for you at the start of the tunnel session only limited changes can be made on the day. Thats why we emphasise the importance of the inital positional analysis session. It prepares the way to get most out of your tunnel day.
3.The Core tunnel session will allow sufficient time for the establishment of optimal aero positions for most amateur club riders. In some circumstances we may advise you to book extra time (for example if you wanted to test numerous set of aero-bars you would certainly need to book extra time). Likewise we would anticipate that Elite or Professional riders using our services would have have particular requirements that necessarily needed a longer session. Extra time can be purchased at the rate of £245 per hour.
Running your session, (and this is fully included in the price) will be:
- Simon Smart, (ex-formula One Aerodynamicist and owner of Veloscience, Drag2Zero),
- Andy Morgan, (Professional bike fitter and owner of Kinetic-One)
Whilst this service clearly costs alot of money - we ask you you to consider the value it offers. We believe we have succeeded in keeping the costs of this service down to the minimum possible without compromising on any of the key pre-requisites!
